I am happily married for 39 years. I have one son and one daughter. They have given me 4 grandkids. I have one spoiled rotten dog. I drove a school bus for 10 years, then developed a condition that doesn't allow me to drive anymore. I'm originally from AR. Lived in FL for 18 years. That's were my kids were born. ...moved to GA in 93. I love it here.

Well the weekend is over. Gotta a get up for work early. Starting a new day a new week and a new month.  They all come and go a lot faster than they use too.  I wish I knew then what I know now.  I'd love to advise all young people to make good choices, be kind, show lots and lots of love to your family. Memories are made each day, whether they be good or bad.  Whats done is done, and you can't go back so make as many good memories as possible.  Have no regrets.

Daily Text

This was Thursdays text, but this one needs repeating daily
These words that I am commanding you today must prove to be on your heart.—Deut. 6:6.
Jesus is an excellent model for Christian parents. How so? He lovingly and patiently taught his disciples by word and example. He showed them how to carry out the commission that he gave them. (Luke 8:1) Jesus’ disposition and conduct toward his disciples taught them how they were to treat one another. (John 13:14-17) Children tend to imitate their parents, either for good or for bad. So, parents, ask yourselves: ‘What message are we sending to our children when it comes to the amount of time that we dedicate to TV and entertainment on the one hand and Bible study and participation in the field service on the other? What really are our family’s priorities? Are we setting a good example by centering our lives and our decisions on true worship?’ God’s law must first be in the parents’ own hearts if they are to rear God-fearing children. w09 7/15 2:11, 12
